What makes the SUN EQUINOX an ideal hot water solution?
Heat Exchange thermal storage
Domestic hot water is not pulled directly from the storage tank, rather it passes through the stored hot water via a stainless steel heat exchange coil. This method of hot water delivery is both efficient and hygienic.
Modular/scalable design
The SUN EQUINOX heating system can be scaled to meet your specific hot water needs as the storage/heat exchange tanks can be linked side by side. Prefabricated and modular plug and play hot water heating systems allow for easy installation as each SUN EQUINOX tank fits through most standard size doors.
minimal operational efficiency losses
Since minimal new water in introduced into the storage tank far fewer scale deposits are found in the SUN EQUINOX. Fresh water flows through the self cleaning heat exchanger leaving no mineral or scale buildup inside its corrugated stainless steel walls.
316 stainless steel INOX heat exchange coil
The stainless steel (SS) INOX provides ideal heat conducting material. The corrugated piping creates an internal turbulent flow, increasing heat conductibility as well as preventing mineral deposits and calcification.
multiple heat sources & outlets
The SUN EQUINOX can heat its storage water via: 1. Gas/Electric Heaters 2. Solar Thermal Collectors 3. Combination Solar and Gas/Electric Heaters. The SUN EQUINOX can utilize 3 heat separate heating outlets via one complete SUN EQUINOX heating system.
